Greetings Counseling Team,

Our October District-wide ProfessionalDevelopment for All School Counselors will be held on October 17, 2023.  During the meeting, we will provide essentialupdates impacting your current work.  

Audience:        All School Counseling Team Members, including APSCS/Administratorssupporting Counseling 

Location:        Region East Office

            PhilSaldivar Conference Room (1^st floor)

            2151N. Soto St.

            LosAngeles, 90032

Time:       12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. for the followingCommunity of Schools:

• Boyle Heights
• Lincoln Heights/El Sereno
• East LA
• Eagle Rock
• Downtown
• A-G Counselors by CoS
• All Option School Counselors
• VA Admin

Notes:          

• Participants need to register in MyPLN.  Keyword Search:   “October - School Counselor and A-G Monthly PD (2023-2024)”   Register here in MyPLN

• Schools should attend as a team for this important, mandatory professional development
• Bring a charged laptop
• High Schools: Each participant should bring 2 blank copies of the mini-cum used by your school
• Participants are encouraged to carpool
• Let's celebrate College Awareness Month by wearing college attire
